How to Enroll
Qualifications
Age:
Between six (6) weeks of age and three (3) years for Early Head Start; expectant mothers can begin the application process prior to the delivery date; between three (3) years and five (5) years for Head Start, if four-year-olds who are applying have turned four (4) by September 1.
At least 10% of enrollment opportunities are for children with disabilities. Children who are in foster care or are homeless are automatically eligible.
Requirements
These documentation items must be provided:

Proof of income (copy of last year’s tax return, paycheck stubs, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) letter, child support documentation, etc.);

Current immunization record for child;

Work and/or school schedule for parents;

Certified birth certificate for the child;

Medical insurance card through Sooner Care or private insurance;

If your child has been diagnosed with a disability (including speech/language), please attach a copy of all available reports, evaluations, and current I.E.P.s/I.F.S.Ps.
